Patricia and Keith invite
you to review their tour of England and Scotland from 18 April to 6 June, 2000.
For those who have travelled along some of our paths, we hope to stimulate you
into reliving your experiences: for those who are contemplating a tour of
Britain, we would like to think that our travelogue will help you to plan your
holiday.
In planning for our
trip we made use of: the Lonely Planet
guide book for Britain; the Automobile Association
books Britain on Country Roads and Tour Guide, Britain, which can be purchased
from the British Tourist Authority in
Australia; the 1999 edition of the British
Heritage Pass; and the A1 Tourism
web-site for our Bed and Breakfast
accommodation.
We travelled 3080
miles by car through: Southern, Central, and Northern England: Southern
Scotland, Central Scotland and the Highlands. We used public transport in and
between the cities of Edinburgh, York and London.
If you have time, call in at
Keith's Cyber Village
to: meet our family; visit Melbourne, Australia; and see photos from our other tours.
Your comments, questions, and requests for touring advice and information are welcome.
